We start with a confidential discovery call to understand your situation. We then run a baseline review covering entitlements, deployments, contracts, and support obligations. From that baseline we identify exposure, savings and negotiation levers. We then either deliver a focused project (audit, ULA, Java) or move into negotiation and engagement with Oracle on your behalf.

Engage us early, before Oracle creates urgency for you. The ideal triggers are:
• 6 to 18 months before ULA expiry,
• 6 to 12 months before a major renewal,
• Immediately on receipt of any audit notice, before signing any new Oracle contract,
• And any time Oracle starts asking unusual questions about your deployment or headcount.

A focused review on a single product line (Database, Java, EBS, Siebel) typically takes 4 to 8 weeks. A full Oracle estate baseline takes 8 to 12 weeks. ULA certifications and audit defenses run for the duration of the Oracle process, often 4 to 9 months. We agree timelines up front.

A documented deployment baseline, an entitlement and contract summary, an exposure report quantifying gaps and risks, prioritized recommendations, and where applicable a negotiation strategy and Oracle response pack. We also document everything in formats your internal SAM, IT, finance and legal teams can use long after the engagement ends.

We use our own discovery scripts and tooling, including our Euladox platform, to gather deployment data accurately and without exposing more than necessary to Oracle. Where Oracle’s LMS scripts must be run, we act as your agent to run the scripts. We review the output before anything is shared back, so nothing leaves your environment without expert review.

Most engagements are fixed-fee, scoped against a clearly defined deliverable. For example: audit defense, ULA certification, Java review, or a cost reduction project. For ongoing managed SAM services, we use a monthly retainer. We size and price every engagement against the savings or risk reduction we expect to deliver, so the business case is transparent.

No. We are not lawyers and we do not give legal opinions. We do interpret Oracle contracts, ordering documents, and policy documents in the context of how Oracle’s LMS team enforces them. We strongly recommend that clients combine our advisory input with their own legal counsel when contract language has material legal implications.
